This seminar explored the relationship between art, ecology, and the economy through the lens of alchemy as a process of transformation. It reflected on how contemporary economic systems have moved away from their original foundations of care, balance, and stewardship, contributing to ecological and social imbalance.
Bringing together artists, researchers, and practitioners, the seminar opened up new perspectives on value, resource use, and interconnectedness. Through artistic practices and dialogue, it invited participants to imagine and cultivate more sustainable, collaborative ways of living—where culture, nature, and the economy are deeply intertwined, and where new values can emerge for future generations.
